Allergies
If everyday things like pollen, dust or certain foods leave you sneezing, itching or feeling unwell, you may have an allergy. Our nurse-led allergy service in Rossett helps you identify your triggers and manage your symptoms, with no NHS waiting list and self-referral welcome.

An allergy is when your immune system overreacts to a substance that is normally harmless, such as pollen, dust mites or certain foods.
When you come into contact with something you are allergic to (an allergen), your body treats it as a threat and releases chemicals to defend itself. This reaction is what causes allergy symptoms, which can range from mildly irritating to, in rare cases, severe. Common types include hayfever (allergic rhinitis), allergic skin reactions such as hives, food allergies, and reactions to insect stings or some medicines. Allergies are usually managed rather than cured, and identifying what triggers yours is an important first step.
