Nurse Health Checks near Chester & Wrexham
A measured look at how your body is doing right now — blood pressure, glucose, weight and more, read by a clinic nurse who has time to talk it through.

A nurse health check is a structured snapshot of your general health: the nurse records your blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, weight, height and a finger-prick glucose, and — on the fuller assessments — takes your medical history and talks through diet, sleep, activity and mood. At Bridge House Clinic in Rossett you can book a quick physical check, a fuller 45-minute assessment, or a check that adds a general blood profile, depending on how thorough a picture you want.
Each tier is run by a nurse, with results explained to you in plain terms during the appointment.
Your clinician will confirm the most suitable method at your appointment.
A light stomach gives a cleaner finger-prick glucose reading. If you've chosen the bloods tier, ask the clinic when you book whether any specific test needs fasting.
Rushing in raises your blood pressure and heart rate. Arriving with a little time in hand lets your readings settle to something representative.
Bring the symptoms, family history or lifestyle worries that prompted the check, plus any tablets or supplements you take, so the nurse can fold them into the discussion.
Why have your health check at Bridge House

The nurse records blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, weight, height and a finger-prick glucose, building the BMI as they go.
On the full and bloods tiers, they take your medical history, test a urine sample, and talk through diet, activity, sleep and mood.
For the £195 tier a general blood sample is drawn; results are usually available the following day.
The nurse walks you through each reading there and then, flags anything worth following up, and points you to a GP or specialist appointment if one is warranted.

Every price is fixed and published upfront. A 50% deposit secures your appointment and comes off the total.
Book now→What does a nurse health check cost? +
There are three tiers: a mini health check is £45, the fuller health check is £60, and the health check with a general blood profile is £195.
Can I book without going through my GP first? +
Yes — you can arrange any of the three checks directly with the clinic. There's no referral step to clear before you book.
What's the difference between the mini check and the full one? +
The £45 mini check is purely the physical measurements — blood pressure, glucose, pulse, oxygen saturation, weight, height and BMI. The £60 check adds a medical history, a urine test and a discussion of diet, exercise, sleep and mood.
Will a doctor interpret my blood results? +
The £195 tier includes the blood profile itself, with results usually back the next day. A clinical interpretation by a doctor is a separate appointment, which the clinic can arrange if you'd like one.
How long should I set aside? +
The mini check runs about 30 minutes, the full check around 45 minutes, and the check with bloods around 60 minutes.
