Varicose Vein Treatment in Rossett
Treatment for varicose veins and thread veins under local anaesthetic, led by Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon Mr Tamer Ghatwary. Seen the same or next week, with no NHS waiting list.

Varicose veins are swollen, twisted veins — usually in the legs — that appear when the small valves inside them stop working and blood pools rather than flowing back towards the heart. They can ache, throb or feel heavy, and some people simply dislike how they look.
At Bridge House Clinic in Rossett both of our methods of treatment are carried out under local anaesthetic, so you walk in and walk out, with most people back to normal within a day or two. Treatment is led by Mr Tamer Ghatwary, a Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon, and begins with a vascular consultation so the right approach is matched to your veins.
Your clinician will confirm the most suitable method at your appointment.
Choose trousers or a skirt that come off and on easily, as your legs will be examined and treated. Compression stockings are often worn afterwards, so flat, comfortable shoes help too.
Jot down anything you take regularly, including blood thinners, the contraceptive pill or HRT, so Mr Ghatwary can plan treatment safely.
You can walk out the same day, but it is sensible to keep the rest of your day light and arrange an easy way home rather than a long drive straight afterwards.
Why have your veins treated here

Mr Ghatwary examines your legs, discusses your symptoms and confirms which approach suits your veins. This consultation is £200 and comes before any treatment.
The area is numbed with local anaesthetic so you stay awake and comfortable throughout — there is no need for a general anaesthetic or an overnight stay.
Depending on the plan, the faulty vein is closed with the ClariVein catheter, or foam is injected to seal the affected veins. ClariVein is done one leg at a time; foam sclerotherapy can treat both legs in one visit.
You are up and walking straight afterwards and go home the same day. We explain aftercare, including any compression stocking, and arrange follow-up if it is needed.
Understanding varicose veins
Varicose veins develop when valves inside the leg veins weaken and blood collects, leaving veins that stand out and legs that ache and feel heavy. Knowing why they form helps you weigh up whether treatment is right for you.

Every price is fixed and published upfront. A £50 deposit secures your appointment and comes off the total.
Book now→Do I need a GP referral? +
No — you can book a vascular consultation with us directly. If you already have a letter from your GP you are welcome to bring it, but it is not required.
How much does treatment cost? +
A vascular consultation is £200. ClariVein is £2,500 per leg, and foam sclerotherapy is £600 for one leg or £700 for both legs. The right option is confirmed at your consultation.
Will I be put to sleep? +
No. Both ClariVein and foam sclerotherapy are carried out under local anaesthetic, so you stay awake and comfortable and there is no general anaesthetic involved.
What is recovery like? +
Both treatments are walk-in, walk-out, and most people are back to their normal routine within a day or two. Mr Ghatwary will talk you through aftercare, including wearing a compression stocking if advised.
Can both legs be treated at once? +
Foam sclerotherapy can treat both legs in the same appointment. ClariVein is done one leg at a time, which is why its price is shown per leg.
