Carpal tunnel syndrome causes numbness, tingling, pins and needles and nocturnal pain in the hand. At Bridge House Clinic we offer the full range of treatment — from injection to open release or keyhole (ultrasound-guided) surgery — all under one roof.

Diagnosed by a Consultant Neurophysiologist and treated by a Consultant Hand surgeon, with a nerve conduction study on-site. Most patients go from first call to treatment in two to four weeks.

How much does carpal tunnel surgery cost? +

£1,900 for open release or £2,500 for keyhole; a steroid injection is £350. All prices are confirmed in writing before you book.

How soon can I be treated? +

Usually within 2–4 weeks of your first call. Most of our patients are seen within two weeks.

Do I need a GP referral? +

No. You can book your carpal tunnel assessment directly with us.

Open or keyhole — which is better? +

Keyhole means a smaller scar, less tissue trauma and faster recovery. Open release is equally effective and is what we offer if keyhole isn't suitable. Your consultant will advise what's right for you.

Will my insurance cover it? +

We work with AXA, Bupa, Vitality, WPA and Healix — and bill them directly. Get in touch if you have a different provider.
