Terms.

The terms for using this website, and for booking and receiving care at Bridge House Clinic.

These terms are in two parts. Part A covers your use of this website. Part B covers booking and receiving care with us. By using this website, or by booking an appointment, you accept the terms that apply to you.

Bridge House Clinic is operated by Bridge House Clinic Limited (registered in England & Wales, company number 16069908), Station Road, Rossett, Wrexham, LL12 0HE. We are registered with Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW).

Part A — Using this website

Information, not medical advice

The information on this website is general and is provided to help you understand our services. It does not replace individual medical advice and you should not rely on it to diagnose or treat a health problem. Always speak to a clinician about your own circumstances.

In an emergency, or for rapidly worsening or severe symptoms, call 999, contact NHS 111, or attend your nearest A&E. Do not use this website to seek urgent help.

Using the site responsibly

You may use this website for your own personal, lawful purposes. The content, branding and design belong to Bridge House Clinic Limited or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our permission. We may update or change the website at any time, and we try to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it is always complete or up to date.

Part B — Booking and receiving care

Appointments

You can book by phone, by email, or online. We will always try to offer you a same or next week appointment, though this depends on the service and the consultant. We may occasionally need to rearrange an appointment; if we do, we will offer you the earliest suitable alternative.

Deposits and payment

  • Consultations: a £50 deposit secures your appointment and is deducted from your final bill.
  • Procedures: a deposit of 50% of the cost is taken at the time of booking and is deducted from your final bill.
  • Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • The balance is payable on the day of your appointment. We accept card, bank transfer and cash.

Cancellations and missed appointments

If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or do not attend, your deposit is not refunded.

Insured patients

We work with AXA, Vitality, Healix, WPA and BUPA, and where your policy allows we will bill your insurer directly. Before booking, please check your cover with your insurer and have your membership and authorisation details ready. You remain responsible for any excess, shortfall, or amount your insurer does not pay, which is payable as a self-paying patient.

Your care

We will use reasonable care and skill to provide safe, high-quality care. A clinician may decline or discontinue treatment where it would not be clinically appropriate, and will explain why. Fees are as quoted at the time of booking; where a fee may change, we will tell you before going ahead.

Your information and complaints

We handle your personal and health information as described in our Privacy Policy. If something goes wrong, please tell us — our complaints procedure explains how to raise a concern.

General

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law. Apart from that, we are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill; we are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. We may update these terms from time to time and will publish any changes on this page.
